Connected The Wrong LinkedIn Profile?

This is how to change the LinkedIn profile that is attached to your Aware account, if you connected the wrong one accidently

We often hear from people that manage LinkedIn profiles for others: consultants, administrative support professionals, and marketers, who manage LinkedIn accounts for others.


Also, sometimes people are just logged in on the same computer as someone else!

Either way, sometimes the LinkedIn profile that got connected to Aware first, isn't the one you want.

Here's how to fix it.

  1. First, make sure to log into the correct LinkedIn profile. This is the one you DO want to be connected to Aware.

  2. Then, go to Account > Users, and click "Delete Profile":

  3. Refresh the page.

  4. Within a few moments, you should be connected to the correct LinkedIn account!

(Please note: reinstalling the Aware Chrome extension doesn't do anything, and won't help.)
