When setting up keyword lists in Aware, the first thing to note is that our keyword lists are going to bring in very similar results as what you see when performing that same search on LinkedIn directly.
Here's an example of such a search:
You'll see two LinkedIn fields that correspond to Aware fields:
Content keywords
Author keywords
As you can see in the screenshot below, the content keyword filter is what you would put in the search bar; the author keyword filter is what you'd put in that same LinkedIn Search field, below.

While keyword search lists can be handy, LinkedIn search is not very powerful or precise. As a result, neither is this feature. Here are some tips for using Keyword searches effectively:
Stay broad. We've noticed, ironically, that the fewer keywords you use, the better results you'll get. Create more keyword search lists rather than trying to make each list ultra-precise.
βUse for influencer discovery. LinkedIn search doesn't produce a very focused engagement feed for most people, so what they instead do is add creators they find from keyword lists, to specific person lists, like this:
